A History of Violets

This colorway is a rich, deep purple made by double immersion. The layering of colour creates a highly saturated colour that almost seems to glow. Different yarn bases will take this dye method differently; it will appear more variegated on yarns with more loft and thicker fibers, and almost entirely solid on a yarn with finer fibers.
