Aran Weight

Our current signature Aran weight yarn is Bamboo Aran, a sturdy 70/30 blend of extra-fine superwash merino and ethically sourced bamboo fibres (also known as Lyocell). The bamboo content of the yarn gives it greater strength and washability, a smooth softness next to the skin and a silk-like metallic sheen which adds dimension to textured knits, particularly cables.

Bamboo Aran is milled in Italy and purchased from a Canadian distributor. 

All skeins are 100 grams and 120 meters (131 yards).
