Embroidery Floss

All of our embroidery floss is hand-dyed in small batches. Although we do our best to maintain consistent formulas, there is always some small variations and variegations in in a floss that is dyed by hand rather than in a factory.

All embroidery with hand-dyed floss should be washed very gently in cold water with a ph-neutral soap.

Note: different colour representation in different monitors sometimes leads to confusion. Whenever possible, we will note if a hand-dyed color in our catalog is similar to a floss from the DMC catalog, which is known to textile artists around the world.
