About Us

Slan Baby is a queer and trans-owned family business from Vancouver, BC. "Slan" is an old timey term which means "science fiction fan"--all of us on the team are giant nerds!
Arinn (56, she/her) is a cancer survivor who started hand-dyeing and hand-painting garments for her soon-to-be born grandbaby in 2020. She is the main dyer and painter of Slan Baby and creates the various characters seen on t-shirts and other products. Her favorite textile crafts (so far!) are tie-dyeing, cross stitch and punch needle embroidery, although she has also been learning to knit.
Fletcher (32, they/them) is a textile artist and a loving parent who knits, crochets and weaves with passion and a touch of whimsy. They create patterns, samples and palettes for Slan Baby, and serve as the driving force behind many new product designs.
Ashlee (26, she/her) is a textile artist and designer who creates garments, toys, and accessories via crochet, sewing, and cross stitch. She enjoys hand-spinning her own yarn and can often be spotted helping out at our booth at craft fairs and at our pop-up shop.
Slan Baby's mission is to create a world of color and joy. We hope you'll join us.
