Chunky Weight

These yarns can have less than 100 meters/yards per 100 grams if they are spun densely, but can have many more meters/yards per gram if the yarn is lofty and light.

Items made with chunky yarns work up quickly and produce a thicker, warmer fabric, often  suitable for blankets, winter sweaters, outerwear and household items.
